We're back at it again. Another Winter Storm is on the way for Wednesday. That said, a Winter Storm Watch is in place. This time it won't be the long, three day drawn out blizzard like the last one was. In fact, it's not a blizzard at all. Wind will be much more manageable, only 15 mph.
But this time the snow will come at a much more intense pace. We're looking at a 12 hour window for snowfall. Most of it comes from 8am to 2pm.
Initial estimates are running around 4-8" across our region.
Snowfall rates will be up around 1" per hour Wednesday morning, quickly deteriorating roads, even with a powerful April sunshine. If the most intense starts falling during the morning commute. A sudden 'unexpected' onset of heavy snow tends to create big problems . The evening commute will be impacted as well.
