Mobile home a total loss after fire in SE Rochester Friday morning

(ABC 6 News) – A mobile home is described a total loss after a fire at a southeast Rochester trailer court early Friday morning.

According to the Rochester Fire Department (RFD), just after midnight crews responded to a report of a mobile home on fire at Bob’s Trailer Court, 1915 Marion Road.

Upon arrival, crews found heavy fire and smoke showing from multiple openings on the mobile home. Once the fire was contained from the outside, crews went inside and extinguished the remaining fire and found nobody was inside.

RFD says the mobile home and contents inside are a total loss. There were no injuries reported.

KAAL reported on a disturbance at the trailer park the day before the fire.

The scene was turned over to RFD’s Fire Marshal’s Division for investigation.

RFD was assisted at the scene by the Rochester Police Department, Mayo Clinic Ambulance, RPU and Minnesota Energy.
