(ABC 6 NEWS) -- There's now a time capsule in the ground marking the 140th year of a tradition by the Sisters of Saint Francis.

The capsule holds memories from this year, including a congregational publication, honey from beehives at Assisi Heights, dreams for the future and even an ABC 6 evening newscast.

"There will be big changes we anticipate. Hopefully, some really good things happening in our society, like protection for the young adults who are suffering right now of the threat of deportation,” said Sister Ramona Miller.

The hope is some good things will happen by the next time they open the capsule which will be in 2027, their 150th anniversary.
