(ABC 6 News) -- Rochester police got multiple phone calls just before 10:00 Thursday night about gunshots being fired in the area of the 3800 block of Willow Ridge Drive SW.

When officers got there, a man who lives in one of the homes came out and said it sounded like something "blew up" in his home. When he went to investigate he saw a hole in the floor of his kitchen.

Police found multiple bullet holes in the outside of the home, and one had gone through a wall and into the kitchen floor. They also found multiple shell casings in the street. Police believe about half a dozen shots were fired.

With the man inside the home were a woman and a 2-year-old girl. No one was injured.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
