(ABC 6 News) - The State Patrol responded to a serious crash on Highway 52, south of Preston around 6:30 Tuesday morning.

According to the crash report, Jeremy Pederson, of Preston, was heading south on 52, when he rounded the curve near Fillmore County 12 and crossed the center line. Authorities say his Toyota hit a northbound Chevy Impala driven by Marc Dekeyrel of Harmony.

Both men were wearing their seatbelts.

Pederson was taken to Saint Marys in Rochester with "non-life" threatening injuries. Dekeyrel was also transported to Saint Marys. However, the crash report indicated he had "life-threatening" injuries.
