(ABC 6 News) -- Two people are facing drug charges following a search of a southeast Rochester home.

Around 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 13, the Rochester Police Criminal Interdiction Unit obtained a search warrant for a home on the 900 block of 4th St. SE following reports of synthetic marijuana sales.

Once inside the home, Captain John Sherwin said authorities recovered around 2 ounces of synthetic marijuana, also known as K2, and items used to package the drug.

24-year-old Katlyn Murphy-Tasler and 25-year-old Casio Gilliam were arrested and are facing charges of fourth-degree drug sales and fifth-degree drug possession.  They’re also facing a child endangerment charge since a 9-month-old also resides in the home.  Captain Sherwin said the 9-month-old was not home at the time of the arrests.
