(ABC 6 News) -- Rochester Police are searching for three men after a man said he was held at gunpoint and robbed.

Around 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, October 31, a 28-year-old man told police he had just put his car in the detached garage at the apartment complex his lives at, located on the 1500 block of 50th St. NW, when three men approached the area.  Rochester Police Captain John Sherwin said the 28-year-old asked the others what they were doing, and the men replied, “We’re trying to get in the garage."

The 28-year-old told officers he knew the men did not have a garage in that area, and when he approached them he said one of them put a gun to his chest.  The victim said he put his hands in the air and the suspects grabbed his wallet from his back pocket and took off.

Rochester Police said the victim believes all three men are in their late teens.  The first suspect is described as black, about 6’4’’ and 150 pounds.  The victim said he was wearing a skully mask, black coat with a hood and a Somali skirt.  The second suspect is described as black, about 5’4” with short dreadlocks.  The victim said he was wearing brown boots, tight jeans and a vested shirt with a hood.  The third suspect, who had the gun, is described as black with long dreadlocks.  The victim said he was wearing a dark Under Armour coat with a hood.
