(ABC 6 News) -- A drug investigation by Rochester’s Criminal Interdiction Unit leads to the arrest of Rochester man.

Captain John Sherwin with the Rochester Police Department said a search warrant was issued on the afternoon of Friday, July 14 for 24-year-old Charles Webster of Rochester.  Webster was located in a vehicle near the 2000 block of 18th Ave. NW.  Officers found a stolen handgun out of Goodhue County on Webster as well as a large amount of cash and a small amount of marijuana, according to Captain Sherwin.

A search warrant was also executed at Webster’s home on the 1300 block of Cascade St. NW.  Inside, law enforcement found more cash, ammunition, and around 150 grams of marijuana packaged for sale, said Captain Sherwin.

Webster is charged with four felonies; two firearm violations, possession of stolen property and 5th degree drug sales.  Webster was also wanted on a warrant for parole violation.
