Rochester Woman Arrested For Alleged Assault with Blender

(ABC 6 News) -- A Rochester woman is in custody after officers said she hit her boyfriend in the face with a blender.

According to Rochester Police Captain John Sherwin, it happened at an apartment on the 600 block of 2nd St SW around 7:45 p.m. on Friday, December 1.

Captain Sherwin said several people were in the apartment when an argument began and 49-year-old Lecora Hunter allegedly hit the 47-year-old victim in the face with a glass blender.   

The victim was bleeding and taken to the hospital for stitches and an evaluation, said Captain Sherwin.

Hunter faces several charges; including third-degree assault and domestic assault.
