Man Accused of Threatening Victim with Samurai Sword

(ABC 6 News) -- Rochester police were called to a home on the 800 block of East Village Circle SE around 5 a.m. on Saturday, December 30. 

According to Rochester Police Captain John Sherwin, 28-year-old Brandon Knowles was intoxicated and being loud. Another man in the home allegedly told Knowles to be quiet and turn his music off and the two began arguing.

The victim told police that Knowles came after him with a samurai sword. The victim ran away and Knowles allegedly hit a door with the sword. He then allegedly dropped it and he and the victim got into a fight. 

When police got there, they arrested Knowles. He's now facing charges of 2nd-degree assault, 5th-degree domestic assault and disorderly conduct.
