(ABC 6 News) -- Around 4 p.m. on Friday, December 29, police say 19-year-old Dylan Sutter stole ammunition from Scheels in the Apache Mall in Rochester.

According to Rochester Police Captain John Sherwin, a Rochester police officer was at the mall working holiday security. Some loss prevention workers from Scheels approached the officer and said someone had just stolen ammunition from their store. The employees pointed out the suspect to the officer, who tried to stop him. Capt. Sherwin identified that suspect as Sutter.

The officer tried to arrest Sutter, but Sutter allegedly pushed the officer to the ground and took off running. Sutter allegedly ran through Riddle's Jewelry and threw a display sign on the ground to try to slow down the officer.

Sutter allegedly went to the food court area where two citizens got involved.

The two citizens took Sutter down and Sutter was arrested by police. Sutter allegedly had prescription drugs on him.

He's now facing several charges including 5th-degree drug possession, possession of ammunition by a prior felon, obstruction of justice, damage to property, and fleeing on foot.

The officer injured his knee during the incident.
