Sherwin said the victim told officers that 28-year-old Ricky Ellis had kicked and punched her and also held her to the ground and poured bleach all over her body.

The victim said she couldn't breathe and her eyes were burning so she took a shower.  Once out of the shower she told officers Ellis threatened her with knives and eventually left the residence.

Sherwin said the assault wasn't reported for several hours after Ellis left the residence and that law enforcement has been in contact with the suspect but he is not cooperating.

Sherwin said Ellis could face charges of 2nd-degree assault, terroristic threats and domestic assault charges.

He was known to his victim.
