(ABC 6 News) - Have you seen this billboard in Rochester yet?

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, or PETA, has placed the billboard that says "I'm ME, Not MEAT. Kids: Ask Your Parents About Going Vegan." The ad is aimed at getting people to go vegan this Thanksgiving and as the language on the billboard implies... it's aimed at children. The billboard, which is at 1203 7th Street NW, is purposefully located near several local elementary schools and the Minnesota Children's Museum.

PETA says the goal is to "spark a family dialog about going vegan by letting children know that animals are individuals..."  PETA also notes Minnesota is the nation's top turkey producing state.
