(ABC 6 News) -- An Oronoco family is without a home after a fire engulfed their home Tuesday night.

Authorities say the call came in at 6:37 p.m. at a home on the 500 block of Zumbro Hills Drive SW.

The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office and Oronoco Fire responded to the scene.  Additional help came from the Rochester Fire Department, Pine Island Fire Department, and Mazeppa Fire Department.

"By the time we got here, the fire was pretty involved," Olmsted County Sheriff's Office Sergeant Steve Kazek said. "Nobody was injured in this fire."

Kazek confirmed that the family was away from their home at a sporting event in Pine Island when it caught fire.

The house is considered a total loss.  The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office says around $400,000 in damage was done.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, however, the State Fire Marshal is on scene along with other investigators.

The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office tells ABC 6 News that the family stayed with neighbors overnight.
