October 06, 2017 09:17 PM

(ABC 6 News) - Sitting down with a former u-s intelligence agent who now lives here in Rochester to talk about the tensions with North Korea.

It's rare to get someone of such high ranking expertise to talk about current foreign affairs.

George Beech is a former counterintelligence special agent who was in Korea working for u-s intelligence when Kim Jong ill...the current leader's father was in power.
Much of what he knows is still classified and there is plenty we couldn't talk about but we were able to address the current danger that North Korea truly is not only in that part of the world but right here at home.

George left his position at the Pentagon, worked for a major airline and gave it all up to be home here in the Rochester area.  His wife is a former F-B-I trainer.
