The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office said Lukas was playing outside, riding down an embankment in a wagon when he was hit. Authorities say Keller was driving below the speed limit, was not swerving, stopped quickly and called 911.

Lukas would have turned 7 years old on October 3.

The 30 days in jail was broken into to 15 days terms. One to start on Lukas' birthday, the other starting on the day of the crash.

Keller pleaded guilty to 4th-degree DWI. According to court documents, he had a blood alcohol content of .08 or more within two hours of driving.
