(ABC 6 News)-- It's a decades-old mystery in Mason City where news anchor Jodi Huisentruit was abducted from her apartment complex in 1995.

New evidence has surfaced showing a search warrant last year where police wanted GPS data on a 1999 Honda and 2013 GMC.

FindJodi.com was the first to report the warrant is listed under the name of a man said to be a close friend of Huisentruit's.

Josh Benson is the co-founder and president of FindJodi.com. Benson became involved in the investigation back in 2003 when this case was the biggest in the region. He helped launch the site to find out more about the case.

"We've used it more as a tool more than anything to try to get people think back to where they were and what they were doing back in 1995 especially in June," said Benson.

Benson also said he wants to keep working on this case until it is solved.
