(ABC 6 News) -- Many families enjoyed the sunshine and a handful of outdoor activities Sunday afternoon. The Quarry Hill Nature Center hosted its 4rh annual "It's Snow Crazy!" event.
As part of Winterfest, the day was complete with ice bowling, snow snakes, snow tic tac toe, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and making ice bubbles and ice candy. It was a chance for families to spend time together while embracing the season.
Admission was $5 dollars a person, with all proceeds going to the Nature Center.
“Quarry Hill is a Nonprofit. We are admitted free every day and we are able to do that because of the generosity of the community and fundraisers like this,” said Pam Meyer, the Executive Director of the Nature Center.
Over 75 people registered for “It’s Snow Crazy!” making it one of the biggest turnouts to date.
