The American Heroes Foundation Needs Your Help

September 12, 2017 07:14 PM

(ABC 6 NEWS) - We've talked to Garret Goodwin a number of times...most recently last week as he and his foundation jumped in to help Texas hurricane survivors all while he was helping raise money for military men and women in Tennessee.
Garret was a first responder when he headed to ground zero and the Pentagon after the terror attacks in 2001.
Since then he has had numerous health concerns that have forced him to seek medical treatment and has come many times to Rochester for that treatment at Mayo Clinic.
A year ago -- he has started a foundation dedicated to helping those veterans and first responders.
