(ABC 6 News) -- A Rochester man was arrested Monday night after allegedly leading authorities on a high speed chase.

According to Sergeant Troy Christianson with the Minnesota State Patrol, a trooper saw a truck run a stop light on 2nd Street in Rochester just after 11 p.m. on September 25.  Sgt. Christianson said the driver then continued north on Highway 52 from 2nd Street at a high rate of speed and would not stop for the trooper.

The driver then took the 75th Street exit, stopped and exited the vehicle.  Sgt. Christianson said the driver, 30-year-old Bennie Byler of Rochester, was taken into custody without incident.  Byler faces a felony charge of fleeing in a motor vehicle.
