In the Healthy Living Program, you learn about overall fitness, health, and wellness. From nutrition and healthy eating habits, to exercise tailored to your own body, to stress management techniques; you learn everything you need to know to stay healthy.

One day one, Rachel and Brianna leaned about eating healthy. They learned how to make a smoky frittata and breakfast potatoes that are healthy. They also learned how to incorporate healthy choices into every day living. Instead of completely changing your diet, you can make small changes to the foods you already love to make them a bit healthier.

Another big take-away from day one was meal-planning. For those people (like Brianna) who think cooking is a chore and that it can be stressful sometimes trying to figure out what to make for dinner; planning out your weak and pre-preparing as much food as you can will make sticking to the plan a lot easier.

You can check out the Healthy Living Program for yourself during their Holiday Open House on Thursday, December 8th. The Healthy Living Program is located in the Dan Abraham Healthy Living Center in downtown Rochester.

You can watch the other stories Rachel and Brianna did about their time at the Mayo Clinic Healthy Living Program:

Day 2: Fitness

Day 3: Elements of Movement

Day 4: Stress Management

Day 5: Rejuvenate and Restore
