(ABC 6 News) -- A car break-in may be related to a home burglary in Haverhill Township.

On Tuesday, February 13, a homeowner on the 3600 block of Valleyridge Ct. NE reported to the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office that someone had broken into his home. The 55-year-old homeowner believed it happened sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Captain Scott Behrns said around $3500 worth of TVs, jewelry and prescription drugs were missing.

The homeowner said his vehicle, which was parked in a Shopko parking lot at 3708 Hwy 63 North in Rochester, had also been broken into.  His garage door opener was missing, said Captain Behrns, and may have been used to enter the victim’s home since there was no forced entry into the home.
