(KSTP) -- UPDATE: Blaine police say 12-year-old Dylan Niesen has been found and is safe.

Authorities in Blaine are seeking the public’s help in locating a 12-year-old boy police believe is either missing or has run away.

Blaine police say Dylan Niesen was last seen Saturday about 10 a.m. riding a Mongoose BMX bike near 128th Avenue Northeast and Fillmore Street Northeast. 

Dylan is described as 5 feet tall and weighing 110 pounds with a husky build, brown eyes and brown hair that is short on the sides and longer on top. He has black and white braces on his teeth. Police describe his bike as a black 20-inch Mongoose BMX with black footpegs extending from the wheels.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 and reference Blaine Police Department case number 17-221578.
