(ABC 6 News) - The City of Austin and Hy-Vee will continue to move forward on several studies needed to bring a new distribution center to the area.
In a press release, the President of the Development Corporation of Austin said, "Hy-Vee plans to continue the state-required environmental review processes and we've been given no reason to think this project isn't still a possibility for Austin at some point."
The DCA also said the city is moving forward on a community impact study.
In late October Hy-Vee delayed possible plans for a 2019 groundbreaking for a third distribution center that would be located in Austin.
