Neil Dennison, one of the "I Pledge" organizers said the group's main goal is to bring awareness to domestic violence in hopes that Rochester city employees can help stop violence if they see it or feel something is wrong.

"Just knowing the signs of domestic violence, how to reach out and get them support knowing the resources in town that they can go to, which is part of FVCC and just as professionals too just knowing that this is an issue that’s affecting not just a few but many men and women,” said Dennison.

On October 23, the FVCC will host an "I Pledge against Domestic Violence Day" in the RCTC Atrium.
