(ABC 6 News) - Some Minnesota veterans will be getting the experience of a lifetime. Twenty veterans - including four from Rochester - will compete against NFL players and celebrities as part of Super Bowl week.

The 18th annual Celebrity Sweat Flag Football Game will be held in Woodbury the day before the big game.
Money raised goes to Mission 22 - a group supporting military members with PTSD and traumatic brain injuries. The 22 stands for the number of veterans a day who die from suicide.

“It's great just to show our veterans that there are people who are out here who support them,” said Roger Berge, the State Ambassador Leader for Mission 22. “There’s been a lot of issues over the last couple years with people not supporting our veterans. That’s a right they have...the veterans provide that right for their freedom of speech."

“It's just cool to be a part of that,” said Ryan McSweeny, one of the local vets who will be playing in the flag football game. “Just to meet other veterans and compete with some NFL players.”

Tickets to the game are $20 for general admission.
