End of an Era for Rochester BBQ Joint

(ABC 6 News) -- After decades of service, Roscoe's Root Beer and Ribs are saying goodbye.

Roscoe's has been open for 37 years, and now customers will have a limited time left with their favorite barbecue spot.

Steven Ross, the owner, said he loved every bit of it but is tired and ready to hang it up.

“We are very appreciative of the support over the years. I am so thankful,” said Ross.

They will be closing their doors in November.

Some customers have been going to the location for years and are disappointed with the news.

“I’m bummed about it because I really liked the establishment and everything so it’s going to be sad to see it go,” said Craig Brogan who has been a customer for over 20 years.

Fans don’t have to worry because they’ll still be catering and selling their barbecue sauce in local stores.
