(ABC 6 News) – Police have made another arrest in the northwest Rochester shooting that happened in late July.

But it’s not the suspect who’s accused of pulling the trigger.

Police arrested 20-year-old Beda Johnson, who’s said to be a girlfriend of Charles Webster, one of the suspects. Police say she had been influencing witnesses in the investigation.

Authorities are seeking charges of aiding and abetting an offender, along with obstructing justice because of her attempts to hinder the investigation.

Just last week, police released the name of the man they believe is the shooter. An arrest warrant was issued for 17-year-old Aries Candler for first-degree aggravated robbery and second-degree Assault.

Two others have been arrested so far for the crime, in which a man was shot in the chin after an alleged drug deal.
