(KSTP) -- Minneapolis police are expected to release the identity of a man whose body was found after a dumpster fire last week.

Homicide investigators say the victim is a man, 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 152 pounds, with black hair. The victim is believed to be Hispanic or Latino.

The victim has a tattoo similar to the one shown in the picture. The tattoo is on the man’s upper right arm, extending from the top of the shoulder to just above the elbow.

Someone came forward who recognized the tattoo, according to police. Officials are working on the identity of the victim. The name should be released Wednesday.

Authorities say dispatchers received a call about the trash bin fire around 11:30 p.m. Thursday near 39th Street between Snelling and Minnehaha Avenues in Minneapolis. Police were called to the scene a short time later because a body was found next to the dumpster.

Based on the evidence, police believe it was a homicide. An arson investigator is also part of the case.
