(ABC 6 News) -- We now have more details on a police situation in Austin Tuesday.

Police surrounded a home at 1806 East Oakland Avenue just before 3:00pm. During a traffic stop earlier in the day, police stopped and arrested 41 year-old Scott Anderson for possessing meth.

Through that stop and previous history with him, police got a search warrant for Anderson's home at that address. There, police found 2.5 grams of meth and an unknown amount of marijuana.

"This, I believe, is actually going to be our third time that we've executed a search warrant there, so we really do want to help that neighborhood out. Obviously, we will continue to go there as long as there's a problem but we do hope, at some point, this gentleman would stop causing this type of problem for his neighborhood," said Captain Dave Mckichan with the Austin Police Department.

Since Anderson's home is located near Neveln Elementary School, police say he could be charged with possession in a school zone.
