(ABC 6 News) -- Law enforcement officials are asking for help in locating two missing and endangered children out of the Twin Cities.

The Brooklyn Center Police Department has issued an alert for 17-year-old Shatearra Nash. She is in the company of her daughter, Maggie Nash who is nine months of age. The child is believed to have a serious medical condition which requires daily care.

It is believed both are in the company of an adult male relative 38-year-old Shandrel Nash, who poses a risk to their safety.

All are believed to be headed to Georgia and/or Florida. They have no known vehicles and it is believed that they may be hitch-hiking. They are known to frequent discount hotels and to use business phones at gas stations and other locations open to public use. They may seek medical care and treatment for the infant.

If you have any information, you are urged the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center at 763-525-6215 or call 9-1-1 with information.
