(ABC 6 News) – Rochester police arrested one of three suspects accused of forcing a woman into their car and demanding money early Friday morning.

An employee was sitting outside of Dunkin Donuts just before 2:30 a.m., when another woman allegedly came up to her crying, asking for help. The victim says she lost her group of friends and met three guys who said they’d help her.

Police say the victim then got into a car with them and they began threatening her. She told police they were demanding money and forced her to go to an ATM to take out cash. Once she gave them the money, she says they drove off.

An officer spotted a vehicle that met her description about an hour later. There was one man in the car identified as 21 year-old Ahmed-Kafi Ali. He admitted to being a part of that incident and was taken into custody and released.

Police say less than one hundred dollars were taken. No weapons were involved.
