(ABC 6 News) – Rochester police are looking for your help in locating a man whose dog bit a woman and her dog. The incident happened back on July 24th, on the 1700 block of 2nd Street SW.

Police say a white male, described as being in his mid-40’s, roughly 6’3”, with a muscular build and long dark wavy hair, was walking his two dogs... a Jack Russell Terrier and a larger white dog. The woman says the white dog bit her small dog to the point where it needed surgery. She was also bit when trying to break the dogs apart, suffering scratches and puncture wounds. She says the owner was not cooperative and would not give out his name.

If you have any information you’re urged to call Rochester Police or the Crime Stoppers hotline.
