(ABC 6 News) -- A new market in Austin is giving local people a chance to showcase some of their talent.
Local vendors offer up everything from cookies to clothes, from soaps to baby items, many of them handmade.
Now in just its fourth week, vendors say it's all about keeping things local.
"You need to bring the community back together, there's too much of everyone going out of town to buy stuff or whatever, and if we could just focus more on bringing the community back together," Nellie Riles said.
The market runs every Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Lansing Corners.
Organizers say there's still room for more vendors.
