(KSTP) -- Tens of thousands of visitors are in Minneapolis this weekend for events surrounding the All-Star Game, and it's not all for baseball.
5 EYEWITNESS News caught up with fans from out of town who were in the midst of a busy weekend.
"It's been an experience; it's been a really good experience, and an interesting one for us," Scott Rezendes, who's in town from San Francisco, said. "So far, so good."
"It is crowded compared to yesterday," said Semona Hutcherson, who's in town from Colorado Springs.
There’s no shortage of things to do for Minneapolis’ visitors. Adding to the activity is the free All-Star Concert taking place Saturday night. The musical groups Imagine Dragons and Atmosphere will rock TCF Bank Stadium; 27,000 tickets were given out for the concert.
With streets blocked off and traffic re-routed this weekend, many baseball fans visiting Minneapolis are hitting the streets.
"We've used the Metro and we've walked a lot," Hutcherson said.
"We've just been walking," Tony Rezendes, who's in town from Boise, Idaho, said. "We walked here today - so we just walked down from the hotel."
For Minneapolis' All-Star guests, the bustle leading up to the big day is all part of baseball fun.
