(ABC 6 News) -- Rochester had a very special Little Miss Contest for its youngest ladies thanks to a unique non-profit organization.

Platinum Studios and Pageantry gives free dance and pageant lessons to kids as young as several months old.

The Clarion Inn held the group's first official pageant on Sunday. Our own ABC 6 News anchor Besty Singer was one of the judges. It's a fundraiser to help continue the free lessons.

"There's no other company like us here in Rochester and we're so happy to be able to offer this to the kids and give them opportunities that they might not otherwise have," said Brittany Fenley, the pageant director.

The non-profit company will have another event like this in December called "Frost."
