(ABC 6 News) -- From portraits of rustic boots painted by ketchup and coffee, to layers and layers of pictures stacked on top of one another to make a flower look real, an art show at Grand Meadow's Living Center brings out the talent from an unlikely group of artists.
They're a group of seniors who get together once a week to paint, mold, and come together to not only form artwork, but also to forge bonds between one another.
They call these sessions "Thursday Therapy." The idea came about around three years ago and it wasn't until recently that they organized an art show to showcase their work.
The event is not only exclusive to seniors in Grand Meadow. It's open for all ages and primarily focuses on unveiling hidden talent within the community.
