(ABC 6 News) -- In Rochester today, people raised money for cancer research in a pretty unique way.
Coyote Creek held it's 4th Annual Shoot for the Cure. There was a variety of competitions like a laser gun shoot, to archery out in the field.
The money raised goes toward cancer research at Mayo Clinic and St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
Trent Kleeberger, one of the participants in the event, has this to say, "You know we as a group of people got together and said you know what as an organization we can give back in this way to people that really need it, you know I get up every morning and thank god everyday that I'm lucky, I'm healthy, there's plenty of people that do not have that luxury."
Even though the event already wrapped up, organizers are already talking about next year's competition which will be in May.
