BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. (AP) - FBI Director James Comey says the arrest of a Libyan militant in the deadly attack on Americans in Benghazi is a very good day for law enforcement.
Comey visited the Minneapolis Division of the FBI on Tuesday as part of his plan to visit all of the agency's offices.
Comey says the FBI's No. 1 priority remains counterterrorism. He says he's looking forward to a successful prosecution of Libyan militant Ahmed Abu Khattala, who was captured by American forces Sunday. He's charged in the 2012 assault that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and three others.
Comey says the FBI never forgets and never gives up.
He says the message to terrorists is: "We will shrink the world to find you. We will shrink the world to bring you to justice."
