(ABC 6 News) -- Byron students came together and created a memorial for their classmate Noah Graddy.

Noah went missing earlier this spring and was found dead outside of Kasson.

Close friends made hundreds of bracelets by hand and sold them to students to raise money for a memorial.

Last week, a tree was planted and stone placed near the high school in Noah's name.

"It's great for students to be able to do something positive to deal with a loss and so i think it's just a way to remember Noah and keep him and his family in our thoughts and prayers,"  School Counselor Becky Martin said.

We're still waiting Noah's autopsy results, which according to the sheriff could be released sometime next week.
