D-Day Vet. Walt Halloran

Walt Halloran is a retired colonel in the U.S. Army who was a combat photographer in World War II and was with the first wave of infantry that invaded Normandy on June 6, 1944. Walt also served in Korea and Vietnam.

He started as a private and 30 years later retired as a colonel winning a Silver Star, Purple Heart, Legion of Merit Honor and 3 Bronze Stars. He has quite a story to tell and is an accomplished speaker and story teller.
