(ABC 6 News) – Two brothers called police after they claim they were threatened with a gun in Rochester.

It happened Wednesday night. Brothers, age 20 and 16, were walking their dogs near the KFC located at 717 12th St SE. They were passing by a silver explorer when someone shouted at them from the vehicle. The boys say they turned around because they didn’t hear what was said. Then someone in the vehicle began arguing with them.

When things became out of control, police say the two boys walked away. We’re told the explorer followed them to the 1300 block of 9th Ave SE. Two passengers in the vehicle got out. One of them waved a gun at the two brothers, threatening to shoot their dogs. The man with the gun said something along the lines of, “this isn’t over,” before taking off.

The three suspects in the explorer are described as black males in their late teens. One had a shaved head, the other two had small afros. Police say they have a partial license plate but would not give it out for investigative reasons. A witness nearby told police a similar story. They’re continuing to investigate.
