ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - Gov. Mark Dayton has signed a trio of major bills that he says will help Minnesota's economic growth.

The governor was surrounded by legislative Democrats on Tuesday as he signed the tax, budget and construction project bills without a single line-item veto.

The tax bill provides for another $103 million in cuts on top of earlier rollbacks this session - about a half-billion dollars in all.

The construction bill sets the course for more than $1 billion in building projects.

Dayton has a two-week window to act on legislative bills. Other major bills remaining are legalization of medical marijuana and revocation of Minnesota Lottery online games.
