(ABC 6 News) -- In Rochester, people came together Saturday to get hair cuts. But they weren't just ordinary cuts.

Men, women, and children, were all getting their heads shaved.

It was part of St. Baldrick's Foundation annual fundraising effort.

We talked to one person taking part who does it in memory of his nephew Jack, George Czapiewski says this is how he shows his support to those who are affected by childhood cancers, "Just having a good time, just a bittersweet day, but just showing support for the kids, getting our heads shaved, showing that we're standing right next to them and just trying to raise money."

St. Baldrick's Foundation is a national non-profit organization. Their goal is help find cures for childhood cancers.
