A local school needs your help to further its science education program.
At Woodson Kindergarten Center in Austin, teachers are hoping to turn an unused courtyard space into a greenhouse to give kids a hands-on, year-round science classroom.
They've applied for grant funding but need votes from the community to be considered for the money.
And teachers say the project could go a long way to helping their students.
“Students can get a hands-on opportunity to learn about science and watch things grow and explore all that nature and the world of science has,” said Alisha Galle, a teacher and project organizer.

Woodson needs to be among the top 50 vote-getters to be considered for the grant.
You can vote once a day, and voting ends on Monday.
