(ABC 6 NEWS) - Around 2:30 Saturday morning, police were called to the 800 block of Homestead Village Lane in southeast Rochester, after reports of a fight.

When they got there, a 19-year-old man had been stabbed, and was bleeding from his chest.

Police say he and his roommate were drinking, and got into an argument over money. One person was hit over the head with a Jack Daniels alcohol bottle.

The victim was stabbed with a kitchen knife, and was sent to the hospital in an ambulance, but his injuries were not life-threatening.

19-year-old Bernard Gaines of Rochester was arrested in connection with that stabbing.
