(ABC 6 NEWS) -- Taking distracted driving enforcement into the digital age, the Minnesota Department of Public Safety is live-tweeting citations.

Friday afternoon and evening, the office of traffic safety will be tweeting out information of drivers who are pulled over for distracted driving. They are sharing the age, gender, location and type of infraction.

The tweets are being done by different state patrol districts across the state, and the Rochester district wrapped up its first enforcement period early Friday without any citations. It'll resume with the live tweets of any infractions Monday.
