(ABC 6 NEWS) -- For the second time in a decade, Allegiant Airlines is ending service in Rochester.
The final day for service will be on May 14, and anyone with reservations after that will be given a full refund.
"We are always disappointed to end service in a market," said Eric Fletcher, Allegiant Travel Co. Manager of Airports. "We thank the Rochester International Airport for their partnership and apologize to any travelers who are inconvenienced by this decision."
From June of 2007 to February 2009, the airline offered cheap direct flights from the Med City to Las Vegas.
Then Allegiant began service again from Rochester November 1, 2012.
