(ABC 6 NEWS) -- Part of Highway 52 is now open near Chatfield after a semi truck went off the road.

It happened around 3:30 Monday afternoon. Both lanes of Highway 52 were closed near Olmsted County Road 7. That's about six miles north of Chatfield.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the driver, 39-year-old Troy Lounsbury of Castle Rock, Minn. lost control and ended up in the ditch, but it's unclear exactly why he lost control. He was alone in the truck and was taken to Mayo Clinic in Rochester with serious injuries.
