(ABC 6 NEWS) -- An Olmsted County Man is sentenced for his role in a fatal push.

Trevor Morten, 40, was originally charged with 2nd degree unintentional murder. He's accused of pushing 44-year-old Jamie Unverzagt outside of the American Legion in Eyota in 2012.

Unverzagt's head hit a wood post before hitting the ground.  He had massive head trauma and was taken to Mayo Clinic Hospital, where he died a few hours later.

Earlier this year Morten agreed to a plea deal that lowered the charge to 2nd degree manslaughter.

Friday he was sentenced to 69 months in prison, with 752 days served.  If he serves the full term, he'll remain in prison for more than 3 years.

He was also ordered to pay $12,000 in restitution.
